Michelle Phelps has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting that includes roles as Controller, Chief Analytics Officer, and CFO in the construction industry. She takes an integrative approach to creating a seamless flow across all areas of a company including finance, leadership, people development, systems, administration, and operations.

In a recent role, Michelle was promoted to a newly created position to develop analytics and reporting for the firm’s portfolio and related entities. She has served on executive teams responsible for evaluating corporate risk and has partnered with insurance and bonding companies to analyze and select innovative corporate insurance programs to minimize both cost and risk. Additionally, Michelle co-led the design, analysis, and implementation of a new internal subcontractor default insurance program. Her experience also includes system implementation and design that includes serving as a member of a team tasked with managing a large software design and implementation initiative.

Michelle has built and grown accounting and finance teams to provide analysis and support to executive teams, while successfully partnering with leadership to prepare long-range operational plans and forecasts. Her leadership abilities have enabled her teams to improve and streamline internal controls and processes, and she has coached and mentored many individuals to attain goals and professional success.
